but running a extra wire straight from the battery to the headunit isnt gona solve the problem?
Whats the purpose of this extra wire. It will not stop the HU from clipping from distortion. You were given an answer. Just because the HU goes to 45 doesnt mean you should turn it up to 45.
I just installed the Sony ax7000 and hooked it up with 4x kicker speakers, when I turn the volume up to 45 the headunit shuts down.
It restart automaticly after 5 secs
Does somebody have a solution for this?
The battery is fully charged and brand new, I'm not using a amp.
Not turning the volume up is NOT a solution.
I have an AX7000 and it sounds like you may be running the wrong impedance. I have mine hooked up to two 6.5 inch 4-ohm speakers. If you run 4 4-ohm speakers in parallel, you are running them at 2-ohm. If in series, they are at 8-ohm. The head unit a 4-ohm head unit. I suggest you either run them in series/parallel (to keep them at 4-ohms), or buy a 4-channel amplifier.
To confirm this is the issue, disconnect all speakers and turn the volume all the way up. If it stays on with maxed volume, turn the bike off, connect only two speakers, and try it again.
Also, I have read that they are sending out the head units with 15amp fuses, but this is not a strong enough fuse. If your fuse is 15a, change it to 20a.

Also, I suggest you post this in the diyaudio forums. They are much more helpful with audio specific information, as this issue does not specifically pertain to HD's.

This actually is a bit of a HD of a problem. Trying to run 45 Watts per speaker off an internal amp is just a waste of time. Changing fuses and creative wiring is a bandaid where a tourniquet is required.
Get an amp and get it all set up well within reasonable head room parameters and all ur probs go away, plus u will actually be able to hear that shix once u start the motor.

Agreed. After switching out my 6.5 speakers from factory to polk audio, I noticed almost no difference at all (even with the AX7000). Once I added my 4-channel amp and added the bag lid speakers, It's night and day.
You realize that even though you install an amp doesnt mean you still should be maxing out the volume. There a reason someone mentioned others were only going to 41, I believe it may be due to the HU distorting above that. Unless you can confirm the HU doesnt distort at full volume I would set the amp gains at the 41 mark or even lower for that matter.
thanks i already set the max volume to 40 in the settings

I'm going to have agree with Francis. Your thought process on adding an extra power cable or amp is wrong. You need to back it down a bit and those Kicker speakers aren't exactly nice...
