There really is no proper section for this, but it needs to be asked. What kind of quality difference an I looking at between HD and Advanblack King TPs. Color matched with black hardware and luggage rack, HD is $1400. Advanblack is about 1100, but also includes the back pad and mount. I'm ok without the back pad, as I'll get one to match my seat. The mounting rack, I'll probably buy online. For $300 I'd rather not end up in a scenario like my lids, where I wished I had bought something higher end.

Prior to buying the King TP for my bike I did some research and after weighing out the cost difference ( your numbers are about what I go t too) I went HD. They ( Harley )use Glass filled ABS instead of non glass filled nylon or polypro and its thicker.
The HD comes keyed to your bike so the same barrel key works it and the passenger pad is much higher quality. Some guys report the Advan units cracking over time.

One other advantage I just found out about for the HD pak is I had a broken screw on mine. I dropped by the dealership and described the location of the screw and they were able to pull the tour pak diagram up on the computer and I identified the part and they got me the thread and size info for it. They didn't have one on hand but giving me that information was just about as good. If it was an aftermarket part support like that probably wouldn't be available.
Also you can add lights and antenna mounts and such straight from the HD catalog and you know they will fit.
