If you are keeping the 6x9 in play and adding 8s to the bags I would suggest putting a baffle on the 6x9 to seperate the air space.
If and when I do add my pennies worth the thoughts into a thread I will not recommend a piece of equipment that I have not personally ran on my bike, tested and or have heard.
Our ears are subjective and hear tones/frequencies differently.
So my suggestions are suggestions. BTW Those 8MB700FT have good volume and a dam good thump with 200-400 watts going to them.
Have a Dayton DSP. Definitely going to add baffles. Do you have a recommendation on those? I'll keep the 700's in mind.
I have a bike with the PRV 8MR600X in the bags pushed by a CV B52 bridged so 250w each. I used that amp for space reasons, and they play damn well for no more power than they are getting. They also play lower than I thought they would. I have 2 Beyma coax in the fairing and a PRV tweeter in the bag and that damn thing rocks well for no more than it is, especially being a Dyna, lol. I have gotten 2 trophys with it so far. I still laugh as one of the trophy's was for 'Heavyweight' at a small local show.

I'm not as limited on space as you are with the Dyna. I have a aftermarket fairing on my Road King.
Anyone here running these ?? If so where and how much power you have going to them? I have some that will be installed inside my bags next week and just looking for feedback thanks
