Default Amp Direction Requested

Ok audio gurus, I need some advice and direction regarding my current audio project. I am not competing, just wanting decent sound while riding. I am working with the following listed components and I guess the amp situation is the big question mark for me. I have read everything I can find and may be severely overthinking this but want to ensure I am on the right path in my strategy.
The pieces:
  • Dayton Audio DSP-408
  • Arc Audio KS125.2
  • Soundigital 1200.4D
  • PRV TW700Ti tweeters
  • PRV 5MR450-NDY
  • PRV 10MB800FT
I am entertaining two different paths. Option one is running everything off of the SD1200, tweeters on one channel parallel, mid 5" on second channel parallel, and 10" midbass bridged/parallel on three/four. My amateur mind seems to think this is not enough wattage to get full power out of the speakers.

Second option is to add the Arc Audio to power the tweeters in parallel/bridged and use the SD1200 to power the 5” and 10”. I have drawn this out in the included diagram.

So, all thoughts and opinions are requested.

That is the largest that will fit. This is not a Harley.

I like ur posted wiring strategy and if ur having issues with getting that ARC under the hood get an SD250 for the horn/tweeters.

As per Marshall's inquiry, why the 5" PRV.

I'm guessing Vic? Where are you putting those tweets? I like the two amp strategy myself.

10s might be a little underpowered if I was nit picking.

Thanks TW. The 5" PRV are the largest that will fit in the factory fairing because well, its a Honda. The Arc and the SD will both be in the left bag, and the 10" will be in a custom tour pack.

So the configuration proposed in the drawing is the best route? I was just concerned with the SD not pushing enough wattage to the 10".

No, its a Honda F6B. Tweets will be in the front stage with the 5", either on top of the side panels or further down around knee level. The 10" being underpowered in this config was my concern as well.

I wouldn't be concerned about too much wattage. With ur DSP and the amp gains u should be able to manage the volts to a suitable level.

Sorry, I meant to say not enough wattage to the 10". I corrected the post. I am only pushing 600w to them and they are rated at a combined RMS of 800w. That may not be a big deal but I am a new to this game and assumed I was leaving too much capability on the table.

Are you married to these components? Where did you come up with this build plan? What is the goal, sound quality or volume? Music choice?

A F6B build sounds interesting
