I went with the AHB kit because it came with the template, grill and hardware. I also got it used for less than half price. Kind of a no brainer .

Why is that? To keep things out or would it effect the sound? There's a gasket between the grill and the bag and the grill and the speaker mount.
I used a flashlight and turned all the garage lights out. If you put the light around the edges of the grill on the outside and cant see light on the inside, and put the flashlight inside the bag and cant see light coming through from the outside then you should be good. If you can see light, water can get in too. I also treated my speakers with Never Wet.
