Default Dilemma

Well, got everything wired up, hooked up, but just getting ready to set gains and hit a snag

Stock head unit, stinger amp, DD dsi-2, mmats 601 cx in fairing, and same in TP. Without setting gains, I hit one bar on volume and its LOUD. If I keep going up, I’m sure near unbearable. Any ideas as to what might be doing this? Is it possible to be the tune in my dsp?

Unhook the speakers and meter the amp output to see if it’s within spec.

too much voltage into DSP - too much out. Turn master gain down

My volume slide is set at -6db, my front channel slide is at -5db and rear channel slide at -4.5db.

Also make sure amp gain is zero. I've seen a few that had the mark on the **** out of alignment. Turn it counter clockwise until it stops.

No flash, set at 4/0 already. I did unplug the speakers from the amp, and am not getting good readings in voltage out. Spoke to Andy last night and I am turning down the master volume on DSP and then trying again this afternoon.
DSP input voltage is straight from the battery.
I'm going to try the master volume at -10 first and go from there. I already have the gains (front and rear) at zero and have tried small adjustments.

More details this afternoon I hope. Maybe the one change will make things fall in line.
