Mike, I kinda lead us off the path of the OP original question. Are you giving those the full 175W from the FOCAL? How low are you crossing them?
pretty close, I think about 60 if I remember right. I may try lower but I dont feel like pulling the hood again, sounds good enough to me. Im done screwing with it, for now anyway lol

Yeah that's what I was thinking based on the 125W RMS rating around 200W for music with about a 60Hz cut off. Don't get a DSP you will never be done tinkering.
Was supposed to be directed to Da bears
I totally agree. I would just like to see those DA 6x9's compared to an actual small sub like an 8 in enclosed in the back half of a saddlebag.
Yes the Diamonds play lower than a regular midbass voice coil 6x9. I've had all three regular 6x9, diamond 6x9 subs and 8" subs. The diamonds play lower and hit harder than a regular mid bass 6x9 but not as low as a 8" sub.

yep, I cant imagine why anyone would ever think a 6x9 in the lid would play as low as a purpose built sub in an enclosure no less? Duh.
