Wow those MS69cx look heavy for a saddlebag lid. Imagine a pair in each saddle bag .

Pretty sure I saw a post of someone putting the gz 7x10 in the fosgate kit and hasn't had any problems with them

ya they are, but not much more than some of the other, so far it’s not been an issue for me I’m runnimg bad dad lids

I don't know that they will "pound" like a sub..but someone sent me a video...he had a single ms69cx in the side of his bag.facing the wheel..and the bags are flexing a good amount with the bass

I considered putting them in the bags...I really dont want to lose the space. I'm going to try the lids ...but I'm skeptical with the fosgate kit

I just installed the kit in my lids last week..those 4 tiny screws are questionable holding up over bumps and all. I'll definitely look into adding some strength to them when I have them apart .

Haven't looked at the kit much it's still in the box in the house. Plan on putting different bags on next winter so not sure I want to drill into the stock ones
