If you are looking for parking lot thump mount them inside the bags if you have other rear fill.
If you dont have any other rear fill other than the MS6X9CX in the lids I would go in the lids.

The Diamonds are about 7lbs a piece, a lot of guys put them in the lids. I had 4 in the bags they sounded great.

You're correct just changed it, they're about 7 lbs.

Stock fairing speakers are 6.5” . You running an aftermarket front fairing? Which one?

Yeah. Running a Tsukayu fairing with the 6x9's. Have DS18's in their now and they can't handle the power I'm putting to them.
