are you suggesting 8 ohm speakers wired parallel then bridged, because I think 350 watts to a single 4 ohm mmats is going to be a bit much.
No,no,no. I never mentioned parallel . I said bridged because the Mmats can take a bit more power than the stinger will put out in 4 channel mode. Just because the power is available doesnt mean you have to use it all. There is still a gain dial and setting it is the same.

My friend I don't know what speakers to go with, there is so much mis info on here, all I want are 2 speakers to replace my HD boom speakers in my lower panniers, I do mostly highway miles and love to hear music at 80mph + so any advice I will take on board.
Many Thanks Bob

Boom runs 2 ohm so you will be limited if you dont change your amo. Kapps run 2 ohm after that I am not sure.
I just recently swapped out my 5.25" OEM speakers, for a set of Polk Audio DB522 DB+, 300 watt (front and rear) I have a 2011 Ultra Limited, I also plan to upgrade the head unit with a Kenwood KMRD772 BT Marine stereo, and a Stinger SPX700X4 amplifier.
the Polk speakers already added tremendous sound quality over the OEM speakers, and I know with the new head unit, and amp pushing the power, it should sound pretty damn good...
