SS PN4.1000d wiring
It's also interesting which instruments seem to play more pronounced from different speakers. The ADs in my rear pods do vocals and electric guitars extremely well without sounding harsh. They complement the front stage pretty good while staying in sync so to speak as far as the stereo imaging.
I am getting by with 200 watts or so on my 6x9s because I have the 6.5s in the pods to help them out. If someone were relying solely on the rear lid speakers for the back end of things I can imagine that more wattage might be necessary. At first I really didn't want to put an amp in the saddlebag but with all the stuff I have in my pre-Rushmore fairing there was no way it was going to fit under the fairing. After I mounted it there I appreciated the simplicity of the wiring and the ability to easily adjust the amp without having to dig into the fairing again. I have a tour pak to help with storage though so I understand a Street Glide owner might think differently.
