Default aquatics and thumb drive
what format and file is needed to use a thumb drive on the aquatics head unit? mine old thumb drive doesn't play.

Almost 100%%%% certain it won't work. I believe there's a note about it in the book. It's just a charging port. I tried it with my buddies bike last year, couldn't get it to work, and broke out his manual. Most new phones won't fit in there with a case so you basically have to use the radio or Bluetooth and have your phone near it.

the one inside supports playback my ipod ts plugged into it and works fine just cant get a thumb drive to work

The upper end Aquatic plays the thumb drive. I have the lower end one and it doesn't play a thumb drive

Must be what my neighbor has. You would think for as much as they are they would have the ability to play it. I prefer my regular head unit and rain cover. It does all I need. But for my old friend who's in his mid 50 the user friendly aquatic works I guess

I call Aquatic when I first got it 4 years ago and asked why it wouldn't play a thumb drive. Was told just for charging to iPod. Reason I bought it was I live in FL and wash my bike after every ride. Didn't want to fool was a splash guard. Seems some have had trouble with their's, I haven't had 1 problem. Hope I didn't just jinx myself
