where are you guys setting the gains using the clean set up
1- no light coming on at all
2-blue flickering
3- solid blue with no red
4- solid blue with flickering red
what is the best preformance? i'm running the tm400x4 pushing hertz 165.3 mille pro in the fairing and i've had so many local audio experts chime in to every combo so i thought i would seek out some more expert advice in here
Set the volume at 3/4 and turn your gains up until you start to see the red flickering then back the gains down just until no red flickering and solid blue.
I would also tuning off a memory stick instead of Bluetooth or fm. The reason is Bluetooth varies in volume and fm varies in quality tunes. Also use Jax Jones you don't know me to tune as is has strong highs and lows.
tottally agree about bluetooth!
i was gonna use the 1hz test tone to set gains, but will download jax jones and use it instead.
thanks for the input already feel better about getting the most out of the rockford/hertz setup!!!
this is why i love this fourm because of folks like you
Gypsye will get you straight on that amp. It is a good one for it's size. If you want to see a video of someone working the controls here is one that I used when I first got that amp. He starts adjusting it at about 30 minutes in.
