Sorry. That 8000 looks hideous on a bike lol. I think for the cost difference. the 7000 would be better and surely would look way better.

jcslim...have you considered the new boom radio? I know cost wise its much more, but integration is seamless with stock controls and such, but you can pick up a take out a little cheaper....which is what I'm hoping to do. Plus the new features are nice to have.

@teedoff65 I actually have the new GTS in mine now. It’s a great head unit and now I’m spoiled because you can see it clearly in any lighting. The problem is, I’m cramming more amps in the bike, and trying to keep them in the fairing. That’s why I’m asking which aftermarket head units I should consider. If I go aftermarket, my new GTS is available, with a WHIM and HD branded 20s. If I don’t go aftermarket I’ll stuff one of the amps in a saddlebag and keep the GTS. The trade off is talk/text features, a better screen and waterproof with the GTS vs fairing space, tune-ability and sound quality with a Sony or Alpine.

gotcha. Well if you swap yours out, let me know. I'm looking for the new harley unit. Lol and you wouldn't even have to ship it. I could pick it up!
