Default Complete rebuild is done

Some parts we’re very easy and as expected, some took time and care in prep and process. Some became a bit of an pain but patience always wins.

So I will first list out the new build components. Great help from Garage Bagger Stereo and could not be happier with the Tech. service.

SBD Twisted 8 Lids

14 up 8 pro audio and horn

Ground Zero 8 " GZCK 200XSPL (yellow basket)

SBD Slick Rick 8" Grills Black

SounDigital 800.4(2)

800.4D EVO BRIDGE 2Ω

SounDigital 250.2

Diamond Audio Short Throat Horn Tweeter (M1SRT)

DB Drive Distribution Blocks

So the picture’s are truly of a 100% rattle can paint job. Won’t bore you with the step by step took a 4 step process to complete and turned out as good if not better than expected. Cost was very cheap in my book, $129 for all needed items.

Everything really went as good or better than planned as I mapped the entire process and system hook up’s prior to doing the job.

Only 2 items caught me off guard, the Ground Zero 8” did not just drop in. Took some work to dremel out some of the plastic to do with the cable and latch system but it only added about 20 minutes of careful work.

The last thing was trying to tuck everything into the fairing and get the fairing back on exactly how it should with no goofy stuff going on. That did take a 3rd hand but was successful, but did add about an extra 30 mins. to get it right.

Result, cannot believe how much better the system is now, with shooting out both front and rear and not using up all or hardly any bag space could not be happier. Tuning everything only took me about 15-20 mins. to make sure everything was good before tacking everything back up.

Yes, I bought Lid Condoms(LOL) and also triple treating them with a rain guard for material. Will do it 2 times a year just for safety. Also made a cover for my HU Sony AX 7000

Default Ride in finally

FINALLY the freaking rain stopped after 7 days straight off and on. Got the first short 1 hr. ride in with new system. Only stopped 1 time to adjust fade from Rear to Front. Cannot tell you the difference with having speakers in rear and front. Unreal

Looks like a nice setup, what did you put in for front speakers? I’m on the hunt for some really good fairing speakers
