if i misunderstood I apologize. I did mention that I was looking for that type of RCA. I did also say tricks to keep snug so the tape is a good answer for that. Thanks for the help

G'Day what I did was make an RCA cable with I guess what I would call high quality ends on it so I wouldn't have to use gender benders. Those things double your chances of having problems. I got the male ends that are tapered so they grip extra tight. I haven't had any problems in over two years. When I get home I'll try to find the name brand and post it if I can.

As INTHEWINDMN mentioned you can remove the RCA plugs and use Deutsche plugs with the wires soldered to the pins. I have done it many times with great success

I don't know about cut them off but perhaps you should put a deutsch connector on inline. So you can unplug your saddlebag, then have maybe 4 to 6 inch extra length between the connector and the rca connections. Also perhaps an emery tape and rough up the connector? Maybe they are just too smooth.

Where do you have the RCA Adapters at and are they the ones that are coming disconnected?
I have an SD 1200.1 amp in my saddlebag connected with Stinger RCA cables and adapters under my seat so I can remove my saddlebags when necessary and they never come apart.

Mike

I put all the connections under the side cover, I use a solo seat so I didn’t want to have to get the wrench out to disconnect and liked the idea of everything in one spot. But if it keeps happening I might move them

Why add a second connection point? Fewer connections = fewer issues.

That's a good place for them but I can't understand how they are coming apart unless they are very tight and being stretched apart while you're riding.
Is it possible to wire tie them to another wire connection that needs to come apart when removing the saddlebags?
If so that may help in keeping them from coming apart.
Best of Luck.
Mike
