And don't run them from 1500-18000. Depending on where your woofers are cut at, run the tweets at 6500-13000. If your woofers are cut way lower than 6500, then drop your tweets down as well.

8ohm tweeters will see half of the 4ohm output. Set the amp output at about 35w@ 8ohm or 70w@ 4ohm and start there. I run my Faital a little aggressive on the tune. I would suggest trying the woofer at 110-3200 on 24 slope, tweeter from 2500-17k on 18 or 24 slope. The tweeter is really strong between 2k-4K so you will need to reduce those freqs in the eq or cross above them. Don’t boost the woofer freqs below 500hz. Just my opinion.

How do I set/measure the 35w ? I'm green when it comes to the DSR adjustments. I read all the tutorials, but, the more I read, the dumber I seem to get. When crossing, the value used, lets say 1000, does that mean; nothing above 1000, or nothing below goes to that speaker ?

If your going to measure you’d use a dmm and play a test tone. There’s a sticky up top that walks you through the process. As far as crossovers with the dsr1 the cap is 10k so for your horns you would want to high pass them at whatever your desired number is. The woofers you can bandpass because you are going to kill them before 10k

High pass means you are filtering OUT what’s below the number, low pass is filtering out what’s ABOVE the number

So, HP the woofers and HP the tweets ? If I want to check the power output of a channel, using a DMM, what am I looking for ? AC V or DC V ? How many volts would = 30-35 watts ? Trying to set the MAX output to ch. 3&4 so I don't wreck these bioches!

.

you should be bandpassing the woofers for sure. If the cap is still 10k then you’d have to hpf the horns. As far as measuring there is a chart in the setting gains sticky but 35rms at 8ohm is roughy 24v

Not really sure whats going on. Today I was going to try tune do some adjusting. So I went in to the adv. tuning. I selected the speaks I wanted, (tweets), and nothing. Can't get any sound, anything! The woofers are fine. When I click on the mute button to turn sound off and on. I hear a click. I don't know if it's coming through the tweets or the woofers. I can turn the volume up or down, nothing. I did have it yesterday. I have not turned this thing up at all yet. Trying not to burn anything. If I disconnect the tweeters and reconnect, no change.
So I took a speaker I had laying around, and connected it to each lead on the speaker side of the amp. ch 1 & 2 are fine. Ch 3 & 4 only a slight hiss. WTF
