2020 CVO TriGlide GTS upgrade Flash problem
I have the 2020 CVO Triglide and it came with boom stage 1 system. It has 1 amp and 4 speaker, 2 fairing and 2 rider pod speaker. I upgrade to a 2nd amp and 4 more speakers, 2 front lowers speakers and 2 rear trunk speaker. The dealer had a hard time getting all 8 to work. 1st they were only about to get the 2 fairing, and 4 rear speakers to work. It sounded good, had some good bass and all the fade controls worked right. I had to come back another day to get the front lower to work. The front lowers now work, but the system sounds like ****. No more bass, the front lowers are weak with a tiny sound. The rear pod speaker are very weak. The only speakers that sound good are my fairing speakers. My fade control is also F'd. I can fade everything to the front but still hear sound from the rear speakers. Also if I send everything to the rear apeakers, the upper and lower fade is now reversed.
The dealer did not know if the CVO TriGlide GTS system could do 8 speakers and 2 amps. I guess the CVO GTS systems are coded differently from stock gts. ( Thought?).
From everything I've read, it sounds as if the dealers ( or most the dealers) can no longer flash for a 2 amp 8 speaker systems. Is this true?
Can I use the Techno Research flash tool on the Harley CVO GTS Boom stage 1 speakers and stage 1 amps? Does the flash tool have all the Harley 8/2 flash profiles I need or should I use the flash 8/2 profile from J&M, Hogtunes..ect?
Thanks for the Help.
