First, I'd like to thank all the input to help me with my Road king! I could not be happier with my set up. I have a set of lowers with 6.5" JL Audio, 6x9 MMATS in speaker lids all powered by a Stinger 700 amp.
I have a good friend with a 2018 Street glide (non forum member) that likes what I have, ...but we have different set ups.
He will have the luxury of keeping an amp in the fairing and already has a radio in his fairing.
Can he still put a Stinger 700 in the fairing?
He also just purchased speaker lids.... so would the 6x9 MMATS also be a good choice?
What would be the basic good upgrades for him?
(Fairing speakers, amp & 6x9 speakers in his lids).
Any recommendations for an Amp that will fit in the fairing. Or is the stinger a good choice?
And what size speakers in the Fairing will fit without modifying...
....And any other 6x9 speakers.
(Btw: The speakers will need to be "marine'd" or pre treated for wet conditions).
I ran the stinger amp in my RGS with mmats 6.5 in the fairing and the mmats 6x9's in the lids. Sounded great! Stinger amp will fit in the SG just fine.

Awesome!
And no mods needed to the fairing on the 6.5" speakers?
Magnet size was no issue?
