Looking for some speaker advice
Greetings,
I am fairly new to the audio world, but I have successfully installed a very nice setup in my 2015 Ultra, with some help from this forum.
I needed to upgrade the inner fairing and ordered a Pickard USA (https://pickardusa.com/product/road-...3-down-harley/) with extra 6.5 cutouts on the inside.
I also plan on putting 6 x 9 lids on the bags. I am installing the Sony AX5000 and I have a choice of Mmats MD4110 and/or Massive TX48 Amp. I know I am going to have to overcome a lot of wind noise.
When I was installing on Ultra I set up the Massive TX48 and it seemed louder but the Mmats sounded cleaner, to my untrained and inexperienced ear.
So my question is what would be a good speaker set up for the fairing? 4 x 6.5, 2 in the normal Road glide location and 2 on the inside toward the trees.
Should I run 1 amp for the fairing and bags or 1 for fairing and 1 for the bags.
And any suggestions for the bags would be considered and appreciated.
