Default Underpowered setups?

Help me understand what I am missing... I read all the setups and see systems with speakers that are 250W RMS (500 Program) and pushing the with 100W Example: JL XD600/6.@ 4 Ohm bushing (4) PRV 6MRs and (2) Horns) Would you not want to have more power for these for them to really come alive? I also see the Stinger 700 pushing (4) Hertz/focal etc with similar specs...

ok, after reading WAY more pages of this forum... holy Shiznit... I now see people are doing multiple amps (Sound Digital 400s x3-4). Now my question is the s/tater/battery. Pulling 60-80+ Amps out of a stator that pushes 35ish... seems to be leading to trouble. No?

Most charging systems exceed 35a. Combined with most of the amps guys are using are efficient. Music is dynamic, therefore the amp isn't drawing capacity much of the time.

Not all watts are created equally.

These speakers typically have high sensitivity ratings. They don’t require much power to get loud .
