those should do the trick, sounds like its just not tuned right, I messed with mine a lot, I eventually ditched them all together. I think the AHB ones work way better. maybe the biketronic ones are a better match for their amps.

OP, BTW i think that the 6x9 should put out well more bass because of the cone area. I'd check the EQ on the amp for more bass.
