Not too long back, I had the following put in place of the OEM stuff in the bike:
Arc Audio Moto 600.4 AD 4200 Components in the fairing DB Drive 6x9s in the bags
Without the engine off, I'm not super impressed with the bass from these rear speakers vs the bass sound I got from the OEM 5x7s. The overall sound of the system is a step up, but the bass seemed kind of like I may have lost a bit. With the engine on, I am stretching to hear decent bass, even at idle. I feel like my installers may have left a little on the table when they set up the rear speakers. They sound great, but they seem a bit weak.
Should I have expected a better bass sound from 6x9s vs the Boom 5x7s?
this is what the different flashes do, have you had the HU flashed?
No only flashed for rear enable fade. I bought the Biketronics BT-355 for the front and the rear so far, how well does it fight off the nasty EQ in the built-in HD GTS Radio???

those should do the trick, sounds like its just not tuned right, I messed with mine a lot, I eventually ditched them all together. I think the AHB ones work way better. maybe the biketronic ones are a better match for their amps.
