I think I've tried everything to keep latches from rattling . Some music is fine but other bass frequency is worse i did bend the tabs up for a better locking the latch it a 09 UC saddle bags.
I believe it's in that metal Rod in the hinges even key looking it don't help i did put bigger chrome latches on that might made it worse also.

Normally adjusting the tabs will get it done. You have to "'play" with both tabs quite a bit to achieve results. The only other solution is:
A. Purchase new latches for your 09
B. Upgrade to the 14 and up saddlebags.
Obviously new latches are going to be the most cost effective. I upgraded to the 14 and up bags on my 07 Ultra and that issue immediately went away.
I would try working with the tabs first. Takes a little patience which none of us have. lol!!
I would love to get 14 saddle bags how much $$ did it cost you for that set up. Sinse my UC isn't black it will cost more $😔 to match paint.
I will look in to new latches for now.
Ah ha! I see your issue since you posted a pic. Those latches you presently have on the bike pretty much suck with speakers in the bags lol. Go back to the original latches. Nice looking bike by the way!

thanks I will try the oems latches and play this particular song and hear any inprovement.
Line your bags with sound deadener, also put some in behind the latches, had same issue with my bags and original latches didn't matter how much I played with tabs. I used parts express Sonic Barrier, but there is several brands out there that work.
