Default 2016 Tri Glide Stereo Upgrade

You were a lot of help when I upgraded the stereo in my 2000 Ultra. I just traded it in on a 2016 Tri Glide. I returned the Ultra to stock and would like to keep the Boom radio in the new bike and install the upgrades in the new bike and wanted to validate they are still a good choice. I have a stinger 700x4 amp driving 2 mmat 601cx in the fairing and 2 kappa 62ix in the tour pack. Do i need a sound processor or anything else?

The ultra already has the 4 speaker flash, The BT line levelers will help. no need for a DSP with your current speakers.

Thank you Juice! Do they make speaker pods for the lowers? I believe they have radiators in them. I would like to get a little more low end than I currently have.

They do make some wethead speaker lowers, most of the speakers that will fit in them will not give a lot of low end though.

If you want warmer bass notes I would look into 8"lids or speakers in your bags. You will loose a good bit of what they provide riding though.

unfortunately the Trip Glide doesn't have bags on it. I am limited to the fairing and rear tour pack speakers. Maybe the lowers.

Yep my bad on the triglide.. There are some warmish 6.5's but with more warmth/bass you will have less volume with just 6.5's.

At one point I remember someone relocating the water bottles on a bubblehead to allow the old style speaker boxes to fit. Would this be possible on a Tri Glide?
