adding lowers
I kept the HD head unit.
Arc Audio Moto 600.4
AD 4200 Components in the fairing
DB Drive 6x9s in the bags
I am really happy with the difference between this and the Stage II amp and speakers.
Audio upgrading seems to beget audio upgrading.
I"m going to add speakers to the lower fairings.I can come off the head unit which has been flashed and keep the existing setup the same.
I'm thinking I can add another amp and lowers...or rather than split off the arc amp, maybe use that to power the lowers as well
I'm open to suggestions.
As far as speakers go, is it possible to get a nice warm sound which adds a bit of volume. My AD4200 Comp speakers are nice and loud and very bright. I'm thinking some nice warm lowers may compliment my setup nicely. Again, I'm open to suggestions.
What I'm looking for is a suggestion as to which speakers you'd choose, how you'd bring power to them, and which dsp or other solution would you suggest for making it sound great?
Maybe I nix the current amp and go with a different amp and dsp setup for the entire system, including the upper fairing, lower fairing, and bags.
I spent a little time with Juice the other night and he was able to hear what I have. His system sounded pretty baller. It was the first time I've heard someone demo in a bar parking lot and the bar patrons complained after he turned his system off.

Budget, I'm willing to what it takes to get a great setup, doesn't have to be the baller best setup.....budget in the range of $1000-1500...is that realistic?
