What's your voltage gauge on the bike reading with the bike running? Does it move when you give it throttle?

How would I be able to tell if this is the case?

So I haven't turned it on since I ran it after jumping, because it still won't start. I did rev the throttle when it was running and didn't notice a jump. I wonder if that's what caused the engine light. Damn I'm pissed.

Well if you have an engine light then you should have a code as well. See what it is.

I'll post photos of the codes. I will say that the bike will start on its own now, so the battery itself is charging finally. I googled the codes and some of those b codes look a little scary. Can anyone translate this to see if it is in fact a stator or regulator failure? I appreciate any help in advance.

Have you tried clearing them now that the bike will start? I had the B2206 code on my bike when I swapped handlebars. Actually its still there...and think its a bad wire or crimped wire in the run start switch.

Google "Harley check engine code" along with each code and see what you find.

I did that. And I can clear them. I would guess if I clear it then turn the bike off, the code will trip again when it restarts. Am I wrong?

If the code is current then yes it will pop back up again after clearing it and starting the bike.

good news is i cleared the codes, restarted the bike and the engine light didn't come back on....so I can ride. The bad news is I still have no sound from the speakers. Radio turns on and seems to play, but no output. The fuse off the battery terminal looked a little rough, so I swapped it, and same story. I also checked to make sure I could connect to my dsr1, and I could so I know it's getting power. WTF am I missing? The cover hasn't been off, so I can't imagine anything came unplugged.
