Hello all, I am looking for something warmer. While my current set up is plenty loud. I find it a touch on the high side. My current set up, tx48 massive amp dsr1, Mmatts 601 cx faring, db g2 lowers. Mmatts 601 cx tour pac. Now im not sure if it's the gent that put it in didn't have a clue, which i am leaning on..He kep saying go rf. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all for your time...
Wesley I'd also say take a look at the tune on your DSP. I figure if I can get a set of the original Motos to sound warm with a tune you should be able to with those Mmats.
To cut your installer some slack everyone's ears are different. Also what sounds good sitting still will require an entirely different tune at 70 mph. I find that the tune that sounds good at highway speed on my sled sounds a little dull sitting still because when I have to crank it up loud to overcome wind noise the mids really push through.
You may have an advantage with your DSR1. I think you can tune that with your phone, so you could mount your phone, select that channel, tweak the EQ curve and ride a bit. Rinse and repeat until you like what you hear.
I can personally attest that it would be worth your ride over to meet up with @Juice. Let him put his ears on it, and I am 100% certain that he will be able to make some adjustments to your tune that will bring your system to an entirely new level. He did for mine... twice now.

You are going to want to play with that tune, or get someone else to check it out.
I'm running a similar set up.
Mmats PA601.4 cx in the fairing, and DB moto G2's in the lowers off a TX48 with a Dayton DSP. I get a decent sound off the system.
I also run speaker lids off a bridged Stinger, but they get lost in the wind at 80 mph
