Looking to see who has used/heard different brands of horns in their fairing and what their favorites are. I am currently using DD B3's in my fairing (gauge holes) for the last few years and debating if "upgrading" would really make that much a difference in SQ.

I don't know brother, for our intended purposes it's really damn hard to find a better balance of SQ and reliability than the B3.
I have been a big fan of the DD B3 horns but the Diamond MS PRO 1ST horn to my ears is a smoother sounding horn tweeter. It has less harshness with the same clarity and detail.
The Beyma SQL is my all time favorite, but I do not care for the mounting of it and exposing it to the elements
The one that doesn't get any play on here is the GZ19 Pro. It has a strange shape waveguide, but man does this thing sound good. The waveguide can be changed as it is threaded, but if you can make it work with the waveguide that comes on it, it's damn hard to beat. It would be best suited in a 6x9 lid with a 6.5 or something like that or a custom location.

i like the B3s, used a lot of them, smaller than the Mmats DTX 26T. i lked the way the Mmats sounded better, but the size was more of an issue. i recently blew my B3's and had a set of Mmats DTX35T's laying around, so i installed those. to me they sound better than the B3 and are of the same size and they dont cost a bunch. i might try a more in depth comparison when i get some replacement diaphrams for my B3's. Just thought i'd throw this out there.

Anyone else using the M075t's? I'm a novice and haven't used any other horns, so cant comment on how they sound /perform versus any other brands. I chose them simply for the mounting depth. lol
