For those that asked for updates on the return process with Soundigital on the Evo X 1200.4, things aren't looking good. I received one email asking where and when it was purchased. I told them it was from a member here, and they went radio silent. I just wrote another email to them, so I guess its wait to and see time.

With the amount of fakes (not saying it is one) as well as other things, many company's tend to require proof that it was purchased from an authorized dealer before they will cover it under a warranty matter
they are most likely not going to cover anything as you are not the original purchaser. sorry, but i think thats whats going to happen.

do I have to register my amp with them or just have proof that I bought it from a legit distributor of their stuff?
I’d have no problem buying a factory reconditioned unit. Just means that it’s been gone through and any/all issues addressed. Should be as good as new.
