Ok technology challenged to say the lest. just got a car with apple play. I just plug in my apple phone and get to play Pandora its cool. Question can I do it on my bike 2019 ultra limited, I do use Bluetooth to get Pandora but if I plug it in it will keep it charged. And what other things can Apple Play do?

Yes you can get all your apps when plugged in on your bike. I assume it charges as well. I have android and mine does.
If you don't have a WHIM and Bluetooth Headset, you will need to plug in the wired headset. When you plug in your phone, car play should come up. If not, unplug the phone and plug it back in and make sure the screen isn't locked. You can't mess it up unless you knock the bike over and it slides down a hill into a river and gets washed away...

See there you go latest Hu update on software . Its not that I don't trust what you say I just want to here some more about it.
LOL, what more do you want to hear? it works exactly like in your car, its been done and tested for many months not, it works great, but yes you need the WHIM and a headset, or there are a few work arounds too at the moment.

Correct. Headset (either wireless or cord plugged in) for it to work. As I understand, it has to recognize that there is a mic in play as it's a safety (hands free) thing as far as Apple is concerned. It wouldn't work in your car/truck either if there was no mic in play. In a vehicle there are numerous places to hide the mic so "out of sight, out of mind" and it's nice and quiet in your car with no wind noise. Unfortunately on a bike there is only one place to put the mic and that is on a headset (wireless or corded). Most could care less about Siri or voice controls and just want the function of CarPlay on the screen. Unfortunately can't have that without mic in play. Some have come up with "jumper" wires plugged into the headset outlet (apparently has to be the passenger outlet, not driver?) and such to trick it into thinking a mic is in play.
