Default upgrades

I have a 2017 street glide special. When i bought it i did my speakers & amp at the time. What i have:
DD AW6.5 & AT28'S IN FAIRING powered by JL XD 400/4 AMP
Lowers i have MMATS 601CX powered by ground zero micro 4 amp
Now i am reading about these GZ YELLOW BASKET speakers. My question is: Are these worth upgrading to? Also if i do what amp is suggested for these?

You mean upgrading the DD AW with the GZ's?

Do you have a DSP in play?

Here's my opinion, and it's only that...the 601cx's are not what I'd look for to put in my lowers, or any other coaxial speaker for that matter. The full range sound from a coax gets washed away at highway speeds coming from the lowers. I would look to replace those with a Pro Audio speaker such as the PRV6mr500 or similar. These speakers are designed to get extremely loud and is what's needed for the lowers in my opinion. While the AW's are a hard hitting speaker, one thing they've always lacked was volume. The new GZ will provide you with both. Again this is just my opinion.

I will agree 100% as I have had the above mentioned prv 6.5 and 8s in my lowers and they are suited very well for that location. Plenty of volume and sound great as well.

200-250watts will get it done depending on rest of set up. They get loud fast.

So the J & L would work well with the GZ yellow? Should i replace the 2 amps to just one amp?
