Bridge the 400/4 JL to a set of GZ coax in the fairing

You can keep the Mmats in the lowers if you choose to. This is definitely something that could be done in stages. I would change fairing speakers first and see how you like it all. If you're looking for more volume out of the lowers, follow SBates suggestions of the PRV. Just bridge the GZ micro to them as well. Be careful when setting power on that amp though. It starts to give a dirty signal above 200 watts. If it were me, I'd give the PRV about 150-175 at most.

I personally don't like the PRV without a dsp. Others do. Different strokes for different folks.

These speakers are designed to get extremely loud and is what's needed for the lowers in my opinion. While the AW's are a hard hitting speaker, one thing they've always lacked was volume. The new GZ will provide you with both. Again this is just my opinion.
I gotta agree 100% here as well

Thank you for all of your suggestions. Will definitely try the prv's out. The dd aw6.5 & at28's have been good to me, so maybe i will try the PVR6MR500'S out.
