I've got a 16 with a 6.5 system. Out of the blue the system will just stop playing music. I'm using a flashcard with downloaded tunes. I'll be riding along and display will just stop ( or lock up ). the minutes played and minutes left to play just stop where their at, music stops too. I have to remove the flashcard or turn the bike off to get to start playing again, anyone else have this problem?

 

I didn't have that problem - would ask what system update you have.

In the past, a lot of us have discovered that updating has resolved some odd issues. Good luck

Just downloaded the latest. I've had this problem for quite some time. I've up dated several times but it didn't help so I kind of ruled this out, but thanks for the help. I've contacted Harman kardon, but they didn't want to help, and asking Harley, well we all know how that turns out.

based upon what I have seen, your radio has an issue ,,,

you should be able to find a decent used one on the internet for a replacement or spring $$$ for the new GTS radio from Harley that you can plug in to your year/model of Harley ,,,,,

also ,, the Sony 7000 kit is a viable option ,,,,,
