Daughter wants to upgrade her system. She thinks head unit, amp and speakers. I told her that's easily over $1000. I'm thinking just speakers may be the best bang for the buck.
Thoughts?

Speakers won't be much of an improvement without an amp. Especially on a RG due to the distance of the speakers. Headunit, amp and speakers will be recommended for sure

I thought cvos had an amp?

They generally do but they are only compatible with Boom from HD

And you can do 2 speakers amp and hu less than a grand.

Does the stock hu not work?

Everything works, she is just looking for a little better volume and clarity.

stinger spx 700 is around $300.
One pair of mmats 601cx speakers $200
metra amp wiring kit is 25 bucks
one bt355 is 80 bucks

If you have speaker lids you can get a pair of mmats 690cx for $250 and you're still under 1000. Not sure if you'll need a lid adapter kit though.

It's a 13. The headunits are horrible. I would definitely do the headunit for around $250 for a sony
