Default 06 FLHTCUSE Speakers

I have a 06 Screamin’ Eagle Ultra Classic Electra Glide, I removed the touring pack and placed the amp in the saddlebag. I used it that way and the front speakers work fine. I just installed 6x9 Pyle Marine speakers in the lids and connected the wires but the speakers have no sound. Has anyone done this or have any recommendations as to what I should do?

Financial Freedom ,,,,,

when you say you connected the wires to the new saddlebag lid speakers ,, which wires?

the speaker wires that used to go to the rear pod speakers?

The speaker wires. I removed the original speakers but kept the wiring and harness. I also connected the new speaker wires to original harness and plugged them in. No sound

Iron cross ,,,,

good question ,,, he should check front/rear fader setting on the radio, as if all 4 speakers worked before he relocated the amp, they should work now ,,,,,,

on his CVO ,,,, the radio controls the front/rear fade within the rear mounted amp ,,, not actually inside the radio ,,,

thinking about it, I did check the faders. Now the radio I currently have is a stock radio but it came off of a 2010 street glide. My original radio looks exactly the same but some internal pieces inside need to be repaired. So that means the radio I have now, may not be set to work 4 speakers. Does that sound about right?

You're dealer will need to enable the rear speakers. If that HU is compatible with your Boom system it should work.

The rear speakers are always active, The only thing the dealer turns on is the fader. Even with the fader not turned on, he should still get rear channel outputs
