New Stereo , Sound Digital, Ground Zero, Euphoria...
New stereo installed on the RG. Sound Digital 800.4 Evo Amp. Ground Zero 6.5 co-ax fairing speakers, and DB Euphoria Expert 6.5 co-ax in the lowers, with a sound output converter. Volume and sound clarity are above my expectations. Without a sub there is still plenty of bottom. I'll try to post a video of the sound. The weather here will be in the 60's over the next couple of days. Fairing antenna has lost some clarity on the FM but I live along a bluff so, it's always variable anyway.
So far there is plenty of volume but not as much base as I thought. The other thing I've noticed was, I expected the Fade control to switch between upper to lower fairing speakers. This is not the case. Going to rear speakers the sound fades out. I use an Ipod Touch, velcro'd in the Right fairing storage box for music. I want to talk to the installer about settings and Fader today. I'll post a video on the sound as well...
Shouldn't need fade for fairing and lowers. They're both about the same distance from you the rider. Heck even if you had rears, there's not so much distance that you'd need a fader. Tuning should blend all your locations well.
Also, do you know where your crossovers are set for the speakers? You should have some bass, especially when coming from the front of the bike.

I just ordered the Soundigital 800x4 EVOX from Badazzbikes in Temple Texas. Also went with Hertz SV165 SPL Pro neo and Audio Legion tweeters, and SX 690 neo for my Bag Lids. I can't wait to hear it on my new '21 RGS!
