Keeping a customer is much easier ( and less expensive ) than finding new customers ... A return customer, whether it be for a new purchase or a problem, still believes you can solve or re-solve their problem :>)

I heard that I got money burning a hole in my pocket. I just need someone to take it. I just paid my bike off and have unlimited overtime.

I'm a pretty easy guy to work for. Let me know when and how much. Keep your word and call me back.

It's that simple.

I just got my bike back from Watts.. Installed my fairing and lower speakers myself. Had them install lids with Hertz 200L’s and retune the entire system. they did a very good job and were very pleasant, personable, and helpful.. Maybe you caught them on a bad day.. Had a few conversations with Shawn(the owner), and found out that he’s doing most of the installs himself and has only 1 or 2 other techs to help him.. They do more than audio and he’s a bit overwhelmed and can’t find reliable help. Other audio shops in the area(that I know people have tried) kind of sucks and do shitty work.. I initially felt the same way you did about leaving my bike. But after talking to him, I got a better understanding of the wait time. I know quite a few people that only deal with Watts because of the bad experiences that they received at other local shops. Would’ve done the install myself, but don’t have the time. They did an awesome job, considering the circumstances. I could pop in anytime to see the progress and chat with other guys that were return customers and having work done.I suggest stopping in and having a conversation and checking out the other bikes that h’s working on. I will be having them install a fat front tire next

I have nothing but good things to say about Shawn. Sucks you had a bad experience but him and his shop are super busy and that's for a reason he does good work for a good price. There are a few other shops in the metro Detroit area but I hear complaints about them so be careful who you choose. If I had to recommend a shop it would be Watts just be patient.

On another note if its just a basic install do it yourself and then take it to get tuned. Im no pro but if your close to Belleville ill lend a hand and have all the tools you would need.

I've talked to Shawn quite a few times, he's a good guy. He's got a lot on his plate for sure.

How long does it usually take bike shops to get back with a rough estimate on an install? I’ve contacted 5 shops in 3 states. Two haven’t replied and 3 said I had to come in. To me it seems odd to have to come in to just have a starting point conversation. Maybe buisness so good they can turn down work.
