Default Here we go

Ok so I have hertz sv165 and st25 in fairing hertz sx690 in lids sd evox 800.4 amp and dsp. Has been working fine all of a sudden today was riding to work about 45 mins and starts cracking and than cut in and out took fairing off and didn’t see anything wrong except ground screw in amp was slightly loos fixed that and let play for a bit than cut out again almost all sound for about 20 mins or so put back together started bike to leave work this evening no sound than all of a sudden as I’m leaving starts working again get more than 1/2 way home does same thing with cutting in and out tried to keep it going until I got home but of course started working fine again. Let play for about 20 mins in garage and starts lightly fading in and out. I’m at a loss here.

got a few little turns out of them but not loose loose. Would dsp cause this issue?

Gain set too high?
Battery connections tight
All connections tight
Look at the lugs on the evox amp. Mine did exact same thing terminal plate was replaced under warranty

tightened connections a little at battery but weren’t loose loose. Lugs are tight no movement on board gains are where they’ve been set for a while don’t know why gains would be issue now. It started getting low and than back to high in garage earlier at lower than I normally play volume. Was told amp sounds like going into protection mode but can’t find anything loose loose

I hate to say it but the SD quality control is garbage so if u triple checked all connections and gains it very likely that the amp is the issue.

Don't get me wrong, I run all SD amp due to the raw power in a small footprint but about 1/3 of the ones I have purchased were a do-over.

Their warranty is great, just not the initial quality control.

Everyday someone is getting a doa evox or someone is sending one back. Pretty alarming in my opinion
