If you have an amp that is adjustable, do you still need to use line levelers? And, if you do, Who makes the best ones today?
The LL reduce the drastic EQ signal coming from the head unit. To reduce that signal you either have the HU flashed, get a dsp, or use a line leveler. At one time the LL was about the only way to reduce that drastic eq curve. Today there are plenty of people/shops that have the capability to flash your hu and usually cheaper than buying a LL. I highly suggest getting the hu flashed and using a line converter to change the high level input (speaker wire) to low level input (rca connectors) so you can hook it up to your amp.
