Hello all, I've recently overhauled my speakers/amps and this is the first time that I actually have tools to use (DD-1 & CC-1). Anybody have any suggestions on where to set my crossovers for each set of speakers? I currently have all 3 amps set on full pass and HU crossed over at 80 hz and it already sounds pretty good. NO DSP, and not planning to run one. Here's my setup:
HU = Sony XAV AX100 (Max Vol 43)
FAIRING = GZCF 6.5SPL Coax (yellow basket) w/ SD 400.4 bridged and set gains with DD-1 and multimeter (32.4 volts)
LIDS = Hertz SX690 Neo w/ SD 400.4 bridged and set gains with DD-1 and multimeter (31.4 volts)
BAGS = PRV 8MB450-4 w/ GZ Micro Amp bridged and set gains with DD-1 and multimeter (32.6 volts)
I used a 0DB 1000hz test tone for my HU, and -5DB 1000hz test tone for my amps. I'm no audio expert, and this is a riders bike...if that matters.
I am sure SBates was asking the same question I did.
With the bags not separated from the 8's in the bags I would play the bags a bit lower and in a bandpass set-up like 50hz-350hz, Then let the lids play about 450hz on up.
The GZ coax in fairing I would set the hp aroun 80-85hz and let them play up through there. This will be challenging without a DSP. It just makes life easier especially when most amps do not allow a bandpass feature.

Thanks for the feedback Juice. I agree that a DSP would make my life much easier, just seeing if I would be pleased with a non-DSP setup for now...if not, then a DSP would be the next thing going into the fairing later down the line.
