Default Help with Street Glide Install
Hello, I am currently looking to upgrade the head unit and add an amp to my 2007 Street Glide. I am looking to stick with a 2 speaker system and the bike came with BikeTronics BT447 speakers installed. The speakers sound ok but I obviously don't know if they get better or worse when run with an amp. If they are worth using great, if not then I am open to suggestions. One of my main goals is to retain my bar controls and hopefully stay as "plug and play" as possible. My budget is basically best bang for the buck.

--Sony HU ($250 for package deal which makes install "plug-n-play")
--Mmats pa601cx ($240)
--Jl Mx 280/4 ($280) or SD 400.4 ($225)

That is a solid setup with either amp.

You will need this for wiring the amp.

Thanks for the quick reply! When ordering the speakers they want to know 4 or 8ohm? Also any idea what series Sony head unit I should be looking for?
