Default Basic upgrade for 19 Ultra Limited?

I am not sure how much I want to upgrade my audio, but do know I want to keep it as factory as possible and want a better sound.
I am hoping some of you will share your knowledge and research and point me in the right direction. Would upgrading the current factory speakers do much with out adding an amp?

Would changing your speedometer make your bike go faster without doing any performance mods?

Not the same, guess we could say that about why put a new roof on a house if your not replacing foundation.
I am assuming the factory speakers are the weakest part of the audio system, I could be wrong.

If you swap out speakers for anything worth having, the built in amp in the stock radio isnt enough to power them. Wasting your time without adding an amp.

2 pairs of mmats 601cx and a stinger amp is still a good deal for the money. WAY louder than stock and will sound incredible. Might have to add spacers in the tour packs for the speakers to fit, but that's not a big deal.

That would run you around 8 to 9 hundred bucks if you're doing the work yourself.

Thanks for all the info, guess it was wishful thinking that a simple speaker swap would help LOL.

No need to go all out though. You can retain your stock head unit (keeping all stock functionality and controls as a result), drop in an amp and some speakers, and call it a day. Much improved sound and it'll look and function like stock.
