Like Thatdude I also run a set of GZ'S in the fairing, set of GZ'S in the lowers, with Hertz 690's in the lids at 300 watts each, really kicks compared to the RF/Boom setups I had

How are the highs coming off your GZs in the lowers?
I found with the the Mmats coax, the highs were a bit off axis, and if I crouch down while riding, I could hear them come into alignment.
With the DB Moto G2s, the highs disperse enough to be on axis with my ears. Way better alignment then the Mmats coax.
Currently running Mmats coax in the fairing and DB Moto G2s in the lowers on my 05 Ultra.
Just getting ready to start upgrading my 12 Ultra Limited. Looking at the GZ coax for fairing, but debating on the GZ coax for the lowers or sticking with the DB Moto G2s in the lowers. I already have a spare set of DBs handy, but still debating on the GZ for lowers as well.
Gz ***** all over the speakers you have now. They will outplay the mmats in every way. The wdx will be louder buy that's it. Do you want screaming highs or tight hitting bass full sound that's also very loud w enough power. The ground zero imo should have 300+ watts per speaker to really get down and thump hard
Bluesman, I had the Mmats CX's in the fairings/lowers and pulled them and replaced with the GZ's,, one of the best recommendations I have received!! They will play much lower than the Mmats,,......but I did install the DSP at the same time we installed the 2400.4.

You using the 2400.4 4 ohm or 2 ohm.
Leaning towards the 2 ohm for extra power for lids latter.
I had the 2 and swapped for the 4. The 4 gave me 300 each for the lowers and fairing,s running parallel, while giving me almost 400 on the two back channels to run lids and other options. To me the 4 ohm gives me a better power option

Lots of options with that amp. But...you have to think outside the box to get the most out of it.
