Speaker suggestions 21 Road Glide
Got rid of my Ultra Classic and bought a 21 Road Glide. Old bike had Mmats PA 601CX in the fairing and Kappa 6x9s in the lids. Was happy with using a Soundstream PN4.1000D until it started having problems with two channels not playing. Looked on the forums and saw that a couple of others had the same issue. This time around I want to go with fairing speakers and add a set of lowers with speakers. Contemplating just adding another set of Mmats or possibly going with some WDX6MOTO CD or G2 speakers. I'm figuring it's probably easier to tune if all four speakers match versus one brand up top and one below. Right now with the coupon code I can get the DB speakers for around the same price as a set of Mmats or yellow baskets. I still have a four channel Kenwood KAC M3004 that bridged puts out over 200 watts per channel according to an amp dyno video on YouTube. Thinking of picking up a second one and using each one bridged to whatever speaker I choose. Had it hooked up to the 6x9s at one point and they performed better with it than the Soundstream. Any suggestions? I know I have to get a line leveler. How do the Motos sound compared to the Mmats when supplied with the same power. Are they bright? I'm happy with the tone of the Mmats, for the price of four Motos would the yellow baskets be a better choice all around? If I kept the Mmats and added Motos or Yellow baskets where would you suggest putting the Mmats, fairing or lowers?
