Default New system FINALLY installed...

What's up guys, I have been a ghost lately due to work circumstances. I finally got my system installed. It consists of the sony 7000, sound digital 1200.4, ground zero yellow in fairing and my man gypsie hooked a brother up with the hertz for my lowers. It's a great combo, lacks some low end but hey for all 6.5's it rocks I can her it clearly at 90+ MPH.

My new concern is rain/bike washing. I got caught in the rain the other night and ended up pulling over at a local watering hole and putting trash bags over the speakers lol. When I wash my bike how do you guys do it with having non water resistant speakers. Any tips would be appreciated.

Glad to hear!! I think the GZ's are water resistant as noted from a few vendors. I always spray camp dry on them to help and have never had an issue. As far as the 7000, I would make or purchase a cover that that.........don't ask how I know. I made one when I installed the replacement

Man I have camp dry’s GZ, MMATS, PRV, and others and never worried about it. I’ve yet to have a speaker fail due to getting wet and I have been caught in quite a few downpours over the years.

The Sony 7k I think a cover is made like was stated above but I know nothing about them, I’m still riding a pre Rushmore bike.

Enjoy the new setup and welcome to the rabbit hole.

Also, that gypsy dude is alright to be older than dirt and stuck in stereo 🤣

GarageBagger Stero makes a Head Unit Splash Cover

I've seen these saddlebag speaker lid covers that are supposed to be water resistant, not sure if they make them for lowers though, you may be able to make them work for lowers though.

We made own by bending a small lip on dark lex, adding earth magnets, two on the lip of the lex and two inside the fairing. They would still let you see the unit. Also started installing a flat over the unit in the fairing.. Here are a few others sites to look at. They are very easy to make
