Default 2012 Road King need Help

So fellas here is my dilemma. I picked up a very very low mile Anniversary RK. I want to upgrade the existing boom system.

My thoughts are go with the Beyma
pro6cxnd in both the lowers and lids, run them off a SD 800.4. Run a separate SD 400.4 on the horns/tweeters. Will run a Dayton DSP with this setup. I’m hoping I can get some good midbass out of the lids with this setup.

Next option go with 8 inch speakers in the lowers with the use of an adapter and go with a 6x9 or 6.5 in the lids. Not sure what speakers to make work with this setup nor what kind of sound I can expect/get out of it..

Lastly I like the sound of the 8” speaker lids but don’t like the look as I want it to look as factory and understated as possible.. I also would love to do the 10” in bag with a compression horn but I don’t want to cut these bags in case I flip this bike.

NO Tourpak

Ur just not gonna get good midbass out of a 6.5 so I would scratch that from the lid speaker list fairly early on.

Throwing in the comment that you may flip it adds a whole new dynamic to ur plan as well. I wouldn't be dropping high $$ Beyma in a flip as ur just not gonna get that back as a speaker is a speaker for most whether it's $700 or $100. Unless ur gonna strip the audio when u sell.
