Ok so I just bout this for my 2010 electra glide ultra limited. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to audio so bear with me. Can someone identify the wire in the picture and tell me what it plugs into? There's no mention of it in the instructions.
What is your husbands mechanical ability? Can he remove tank, fairing, do quality electrical work etc? If your answer is I don't know, you may be better off bringing it to a shop. Changing the speakers alone won't gain much, you will need an amp as well to drive them. Rockford has now partnered with Harley and offer some decent kits, they are pricey tho. You can get a much better system by piecing it together, but by doing that you add to the complexity level of simple plug and play. Lots of valuable info in this forum.
