Handlebar volume control without head unit
I have a 2012 softail and I'm looking to make my audio more user friendly. I have the MBT-RX connected to an EVOX 800.4 amp running two GXCF 6.5" speakers mounted on my front crash bars. Currently, I can only control songs and volume from my phone. In a perfect world, I'd we able to skip to the next song, increase volume, and decrease volume from my handlebars with the phone in my pocket. I was trying to see if there is a way to do this with a 3 button handlebar control. Has anybody done this or can somebody lead me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

I've seen stuff like you described advertised before but never tried them. MTX makes one that has a power on lead for amplifiers that might be useful to you.
