Default Does speed effect sound quality?

Howdy Music Lovers,

09 Electra Glide Ultra Classic - running 4 Alpine Type R RS65.2 and a Soundstream Pn4 1000d w/ HL inputs from the stock radio. Sounds fantastic...amp doesn't clip @ 80% radio volume...all is well. But when I sometimes creep above 120kph, it seems like the music becomes "muffled" in some kind of way. Same song, same volume, 80kph sounds clear as day.

Is this just the wind making the audio quality go down or is there some other factor?

F

Absolutely. More power/clean volume helps, but wind is definitely an issue.

I thought so...glad I asked and I'm not crazy.

Time for a 10' freedom shield with extensions over the speaker area...maybe that will help.

Late to the party, but might wanna make sure your AVC is turned off on the head unit? Just a precaution.
